GT Culinary Consulting was founded by Gwith Thomas, a former fine dining chef and restaurant owner who transitioned into international food sales, growing New Zealand-made food products across the U.S. market by millions in revenue.

Before entering sales, Gwithyen spent years as a chef and fine dining restaurant owner, leading kitchens, crafting menus, and building exceptional dining experiences. That firsthand knowledge of what it takes to run a successful kitchen is the heart of his approach to operations consulting.

As the U.S. Business Development Manager for a leading New Zealand food manufacturer, Gwithyen spearheaded massive growth across North America, scaling revenue by millions and building a lasting distributor network. His deep understanding of product launches, export strategy, and sales team training now supports food brands looking to do the same.
